D & D's Lakeside Restaurant

I had a reservation for Friday evening at this restaurant, and its location right on Musselman Lake is very appealing.

I would recommend this restaurant for its peaceful lakeside view! The food was delicious overall, I would rate it 4 out of 5.

I have found a new favorite spot! I love that Musselman Lake is so close to the city, allowing me to enjoy its beauty without having to drive for hours to be near the water.

A great surprise at the northerly end of Scugog Island, near Port Perry. A lakeside gem on Lake Scugog. A newer restaurant in a marina area with a great patio area that appears to have been refurbished. We went at the dinner period and the service was excellent with a good serving of cheerfulness. A fair choice of beers and wines although only one draft beer and not my choice beer for sure. Surprised they do not carry the local draft beer, Old Flame (I have no interest in that brewery) but it would seem a good partnership?! Great pub style food. We shared some coconut shrimp ( excellent) and followed with a chicken topped flatbread and burger. Relaxed, cheerful experience. My wife rode over there on her motorbike with 3 friends the following day for lunch and had an equally enjoyable experience.

It was nice to eat on the patio by the water. The restaurant is very clean including the washrooms. The menu has enough selection to please most appetites. The prices are fair but not cheap.
