Halibut House Fish&chips Family

Came here for the first time today was pleasantly surprised if the size of the portions you get.Come on Tuesdays it's all you can eat haddock and chips and the fish was excellent we got it lightly battered and it was delicious and only 14.95 you can't beat that

Friendly, small-town service. Clean restaurant clean restrooms. Incredibly fair prices. Great little place! Had the $9.95 lunch special: beautiful piece of halibut (lightly battered) with tasty fries and a side coleslaw. Most enjoyable.

Was there with my better half last Tuesday.....and it was AYCE fried fish day. They started us off with 2 pieces of fish (halibut), accompanied by French fries and coleslaw. They were extremely quick to 'replenish ' the fish and the chips. Everything was extremely tasty, a tiny bit too greasy, but good. And the price! $9.99 for all of this. The taste compares favourably with much more expensive similar eateries in 416 and 905. This is an out of the way place, in a very bucolic small town setting, close to a Casino (Blue Heron). Usually on our way back from the Casino this restaurant is close....but on Tuesday we hit the jackpot.....fried fish wise that is...........

Looks like their weekly all-you-can-eat special is no more. Shame. The fish is very tasty and the service was friendly.

The fish and chips were delicious and super cheap! Hubby and I also tried the souvlaki (we asked for chicken but were given pork instead unfortunately) it wasn't great. We will definitely go back for the halibut fish and chips!
