Bidrage med feedbackExcellent steakhouse in high quality trinidad. I had the petit ribeye with wild mushrooms
First off, the food is fantastic and the wait staff are very friendly. The ambiance is very nice and the menus look like some backlit e-ink tablets so the dim lights allow you to view the menu details with ease. My guests and I checked the menu prices online and although the items were pricey, the menu items were even more expensive based on the menu entries we got. They should update their website. Be careful where you sit as, although there is some shade on the windows, if a car is driving around with headlights, it can shine in your face. If you want a mixed drink, like a pina colada, it seems they don't do that. Try to get there early as while the night progresses the service time understandably increases. I was celebrating both a wedding anniversary and a birthday and booked in advance with that information. Somewhere along the line communication lines must have gotten crossed as while I saw other parties with a little cupcake and candle, there were none for our table. By the time I realized what had happened (or not happened to be technical), it was time to go. That was a bit disappointing. We did order the chocolate souffle with vanilla bean ice cream and it was fantastic. If you are planning on bringing younger ones, bring something to keep them occupied while waiting on the food. They don't have any kids activity packs.
Went here for Valentine's day and it was amazing. There was a Kobe beef festival on at the time and the food was sublime. But at nearly 3k for the two of us this is a once yearly treat. Well worth it though
So we went here to celebrate Valentine's day. I gave it 3 stars because the ambience was nice, the staff was friendly and my husband's seafood was great. I even liked the side dishes. I couldn't give it anymore stars however because I ordered the steak. Which was supposed to be their specialty since it occupies half of the menu. My $500 steak was supposed to be a 10oz ribeye. My ribeye was a very thin cut, which was unevenly cooked especially the outside edges and overall overcooked even to the center. The ribeye has no fat marbling which gave it an overall tough texture and if I'm going to pay that much for 10oz of ribeye I expect it to be much better quality. I would also expect the waitress to let me cut the steak and make sure it's done to my order of doneness before she walks away. Instead she left and didn't check on us again so I just had to eat and not enjoy a bite of it. So would probably not go back here.
One of the worse restaurants in the country, the price is among the most expensive in the country and you would think that the quality of food and service would match but no sir it does not. The ambience was nice but not worth that extremely high price. Please ensure that this is 100% your taste because we were extremely disappointed.
