Nagano Sushi - Port Moody

They have really good sushi, but its a little overprice compared to other places that also have big sushi

We order more from nagano than we eat in the restaurant and have been for years. order them 2 or 3 times in the month. flown to the restaurant to eat last week and now I think we might need to find another favorite sushi place in the opposite! eating was good....but service was so not good. worse still that the restaurant appeared very dirty! eat and spot on the wall and eat at the deck! I didn't want the possibility to use the washroom. so shut down and so disappointed!

Many sushi places. for the last 10 years this is our usual place to go if the family is not sure what they want or to cook lazy. we order the same product: nagano combo with huhn teriyaki, prawn tempura, unagi Don,...BC roll, moody roll and sushi combo. it is a great good comfort for us. He makes the children happy.

Beware, this is not the original Nagano Sushi!!! Went there with friends for lunch today. The gal that waited on us rude, arrogant, and never around. The Edamame was dried out, Veggie Tempura was okay but wouldn't order again, the Scallop Tobiko Roll smelled...fishy, the Spicy Wild Salmon Roll was a joke with a dab of sauce on the top of each piece, the amount of tuna in the Negitoro Roll could not have been any smaller and the seaweed wrap was tough, the real crab California Roll was tasteless. Will definitely not eat here again! The only good thing about lunch was to find out that Nagano's on Glen Drive in Coquitlam with Pei has reopened.

The restaurant atmosphere was very nice, with a Japanese-typical small private room for eating. Our server was a young Korean lady who was wonderful, very friendly, attentive and focused on ensuring we had what we needed and wanted. While I thought the food was good,...it may be that I am not a huge fan of Japanese food in general. My partner loves Japanese, and thought it was very good and really enjoyed her meal. The portions were great, and we both had plenty to eat. Please Be Aware, this restaurant is closed in the afternoon from 3:00-4:30pm on weekdays! We wanted an early dinner and had to return later. I would encourage you to give Daidokoro Nagano Japanese Restaurant in Newport Village a try.
