Scampi’s Seafood Bar and Grill

We had 3 small things, steak and desert, absolutely delicious everything. Very satisfied!! My Hb said he could eat the whole menu

Great service, delicious food. I had the sole, the sides were incredible! Very unusual mix (I'm not an expert), but it tasted so good. I had a bite on the wife's meal and the Scotchfilet was so soft and juicy. The waitresses looked at us and heard and did what we asked. They also knew the meals when we asked how or what. It was cold outside but pleasantly nice inside without being too warm. The decor is very nice with recycled wood around the restaurant. If we come back to Port Macquarie, we will certainly eat here.

I'm coming with Nikki. We had no reservations as we decided to go on a day trip from Old Bar. We were lucky to get a table. I would suggest booking in advance and would suggest the lunch time to soak in the sun. The food was fantastically fresh and the service was attentive to someone who was a more round front of the house, orders, serving and closing. A front staff for ten or so tables. I can only appreciate the challenges for hospitality in these times. The seafoods were fresh and cooked for perfection, i.e. salmon, scallops and blue cod. The chips and the tartar sauce were also on point!

We went to Scampi’s on January 2nd for lunch had the seafood platter for two. It was amazing especially the crab which was served up in a chili-chutney sauce. The service was excellent the views looking over Town Beach were sensational. What was pathetic is that when we turned up there was a sign up that said the restaurant was fully booked. By 1.30 pm it was clear most of these parties had not turned up hadn’t bothered to cancel, which was confirmed by the waitress. These people are trying to earn a living and this type of behaviour is unacceptable. What are these people thinking? Thanks for a great day Scampi's – we will definitely be back.
