Bidrage med feedbackI have attempted to have dinner at this restaurant twice on the weekend and it was closed both times, despite their posted hours indicating they should be open. Last night, my son and his friend arrived at 7:15pm and were told they were only accepting takeout orders, even though there were about 5 tables with diners inside. The previous experience was two weeks ago on a Saturday at around 7:30pm, and no one was present with no explanation given.
The food was absolutely delicious, with quick and friendly service. It's also a bonus that they are open on Sundays.
We really enjoyed our experience at this restaurant! The food was fantastic and we will definitely return. Next time, we will probably order takeout as it was quite hot inside, possibly due to the air conditioning being out. Other than that, everything was excellent.
Great food as always but so disappointed in the staff. When we exited, after eating, a small puppy came running up to my husband, on further investigation it was clear this puppy, maybe 8-10 weeks old was tied up behind the restaurant were he had NO WATER, FOOD or SHELTER from the blazing sun. We reported this to the staff and was told the owner of the puppy was busy and would be out in a minute we waited at least 5 mins and I went in again and was again told he was busy. We waited at least another 10 mins and he finally came out full of excuses and either pretending not to speak english or didn't speak english. He never even checked in the puppy. Of course I had already given him water and put him back on his tether. We tried calling the Port Lavaca Animal shelter and got no answer there either. Shame on Roma's management for allowing animals to be treated like this on their property. by their employees.
Lovely people and atmosphere. Delicious fresh bread with olive oil. Service is great in this affordable gem. Diverse clientele and extensive menu. The manicotti was a bit cheese forward for me taste but the sauce was rich and piping hot. My wife got the ribeye marsala and it was cooked perfectly medium rare and was HUGE, imagine the opposite of trumps ? ?
