Bidrage med feedbackI recommend coming here during peak hours, preferably in advance. When I went to order, even though there was still available seating, they had already stopped taking orders for lunch and could only offer cake. This was about an hour before a show. It might be best to visit when there are no performances happening.
With a special $25 menu with a show ticket, this is a popular experience for many diners. our group of four enjoyed a good meal with good service. for each one of us a drink was included.
We went to social for a pre-show lunch. menu selection is quite limited and if they are a vegetarian, then they also need to be gluten-free as only 2 options and both options are gluten-free and vegetarian. we ordered our meals and drinks. drinks came with a dirty teacup that the waiter did not notice. water bottles in a refrigerator for tables, but that was not offered. they can take their own bottle from the refrigerator, but there are no glasses in the offer. we checked twice for our meal times and said they were clogged. the chef, visible to the males, eats food and drinks koks from a bottle, while the potting of the patrons meals. the meals came ad hoc. there were 5 on our table and only 1 got their meal. at 1.20 a.m. we advise the staff that we had to go while we went to the 1.30 a.m. theatre show and were told again that our meals are being expelled. explain that 10 minutes were not long enough for us to eat, we were offered kartons to take the meal with us. if we had in kartons with the desire for food, we would have gone to macdonalds. the meals offered were only salads and burgers, which is why it took as long as I don't know. other tabs had the same problems. So we went and ended with crisps from the theater for our lunch. I just hope there were no vists from the city that had come to the theater and a pre-theater lunch as it was so embarrassing.
Had lunch with my wife 9 month old here the food was delicious. We got the baked pumpkin, quinoa cranberry salad with haloumi sashimi poke bowl they were so good you wanted seconds! The salad has fresh cranberries which is...a nice touch and wonderful to eat. The coffee is also good there’s other tasty options like the chicken toastie for something more “naughty”. There’s also plenty of room to sit inside out the service is quick polite.
Set in the IPAC precinct, the café is doing good business for the pre show crowd. With any Spiegeltent show ticket, you can get a $6 drink voucher or a $20 meal and drink voucher. We chose the latter for an early dinner after the...4.30pm show. We had a choice of 3 mains and a selection of house wines, soft drink or Peroni. Hubby enjoyed his Snitty, and I liked the antipasto platter. Convenient dining especially pre-show as you are right there!
