McDonald's - Port Elgin

It's nice and clean but our servers had a hard time getting our orders right. We both got extra large coffees when we ordered a medium and large.

To say the service is slow is an understatement. I've been to this location quite a few times and rarely if ever get through the drive thru in what would be considered a timely fashion. It is what it is. If you need Don Don's, you need Don Don's and you just deal with the wait. I'm assuming most people stop here for convenience. With a better than average Harvey's next door, you'd think it was time to step up the game. Not the case. Long story longer. If you need to eat here be prepared to wait.

Looking for a quick salad to walk home with and eat. Greek with chicken, not sure what I got! When I opened the lid the little bit of lettuce looked to of had better days, the bacon? The little white chunks of chicken, tasted like lard. Not much to report, my conclusion the salad might have been the start of a Caesar gone bad, unfortunately I ordered Greek! Not worth anything in the garbage it went....$10.00 the cost. Don't recommend, associate at counter should be trained to know the difference in salad types.

I agree with what others have said. This MacDonald's is super slow. My husband and I only wanted coffee and muffin. It was a snowy day and there were barely any customers and yet it took a very, very long time to get our coffee. There were no apologies. They didn't have the danish deal that has been advertised and then what should have taken about 1 minute, took forever!

You would think by now that a place like this knows how to get the volume through. The food is horrible, as all McDonald's food is, but the wait times here are as bad as they get. Was 15 minutes to get through the drive through for 2 burgers.
