Chester's - Port Elgin

The food was really good and our waitress was exceptional. She recommended the Chubby Chicken and the Chicken Sandwich. The Chubby Chicken was great. It was battered, not breaded. The jalapeño cheese sandwich was full of jalapeños and the Cobb salad had real chicken and real blue cheese.

We went on a Tuesday night when it's open Mic night. We got there before the crowd and had a bite and the place filled up quickly. The music was excellent. Food was good, fresh cut fries were amazing. Service wasn't the greatest, I feel like they were short a server perhaps because there was only 1 guy (the owner I think) serving and bartending until later when (I think) his wife came to join him. Loved the atmosphere, menu had lots of options, had a cute patio to sit out on. Overall a nice experience. I would recommend!

Enjoyed the Cobb salad and my husband had the pasta. Nice atmosphere and open patio.Staff very nice.

Went here today with my boyfriend and daughter. Had the chicken sandwich and fries. The sandwich was good. Lots of toppings, and the chicken was crispy, but not dry. The fries were hand cut and had flaked sea salt. So good! For pub food it was good, and not too heavy and greasy. Prices were alright, and atmosphere was great. I loved that the patio came into the restaurant too. Would go back.

Stopped in randomly for lunch and at first glance I was not sure what to get. I ordered a French Onion soup grilled cheese sandwich and WOW! It was amazing! The food is trendy, the plating was lovely, and tasted delicious! Both my friend and I ate our sandwiches and more fries than we intended! .a great find!
