Shakes Gelati bar - Port Douglas

Just next door to the great pizza place a match made in heaven! About 10 ish vegan sorbets and a couple more on the specials board. I had lemon and chocolate (as I always do). They had a Biscoff gelato, which I assumed was vegan, but didn’t ask and now wonder if it might not have been… If I go back I’ll ask.

The staff was friendly for sure. A big smile was waiting for us on the other side of the door! I went back twice already as their vegan vanilla is mind-blowing and sweet to the right point for me! The chocolate sorbet has just the right texture and goes perfectly with vanilla right? Next time I'll also take some pictures and take notes on all the sorbet flavors they offer. I would do anything to have a vegan pistachio scoop :

They have some quite special aromen like burnt toffee that has a ping of bitterness to him. If you like dark chocolate, you will like that. we were so trying to get another one after we finished ours.

Servier sizes were on the smaller side, beautiful ladies run the business. unfortunately no tasting - total average ice. the area includes a series of ice cream shops, so there are many to test out as well as a lot of aromen and brands!

The creamy salted caramel along with the fresh of the strawberry sorbet was for to die. the sorbet tasted as if it was real earthen in it, the salted caramel as if it was from port d water. my partner also enjoyed his rum-ray combo! beautiful staff that is friendly.
