Wah Wing Restaurant - Port Coquitlam

We have been going here for many years but were disappointed with the entree sizes of our last takeout dinner. The house special fried rice is half the size it used to be and other entrees at least 1/3 less! I would rather pay more for a proper sized portion than feel shorted at the end of the meal. The food was good, but the value is just no longer there. We won’t try again, unfortunately.

Worst Chinese food I've ever had in 40 years. How do you ruin Chinese food. Its already cheap to make but this place makes it even worst with lowest grade pork and beef possible. Taking advantage of customers hard-earned money. Molasses and soy on everything. Don't eat here. Prices don't match website either.

After a nice log bike ride with group of friend 7 of us at the Traboulay Poco Trail and one of the member suggest we should go to Wah Wing for lunch , only 5 mins bike ride , the restaurant been in the Port Coquitlam for less over 20 years , lot of senior's local hang out , my last visit less over few years , lot of mall parking , not a fancy place , but very clean mordant family run old style Dim Sum house , their signature is Szechuan dish , Hot and Spicy ,oily may be a B.C long week end , temperature almost 90 Fahrenheit !!! not busy at all , Dim Sum menu average , lot to choose , the Shanghai noodle very tasty and oily , the Sweet Sour Pork is excellent , some Dim Sum item is frozen , no complain about my Chicken's feet , yummy ! not expensive at all , very impressed of the friendly service , over all , food not shabby . we all enjoyed the lunch very much ! so if you looking for good value and friendly service , Wah Wing is the place .

My husband and I took my husband's visiting daughter and adult granddaughter from Upstate New York to this restaurant for dinner last night, Tuesday, November 23rd, 2021. The food was excellent. We had sweet and sour fish, prawns in black bean sauce, orange peel spicy beef, assorted vegetables and a big bowl of rice. The food was great and very tasty. The service wasn't top notch but wasn't terrible either. When we sat down and were given the menus and tea, there was only one tea cup and saucer on the table which was immediately remedied when the server came to take our order and we notified him of the problem. Our food came quite quickly but they forgot the assorted vegetable dish until we reminded them that we had ordered the assorted vegetable dish but had not received it. The server checked our order and confirmed that we were correct and immediately had the kitchen make our vegetable dish which appeared quite quickly after we informed the server of the error. Very nice atmosphere. Our guests very much enjoyed the dinner and the evening.

Wah Wing has been a family favorite for over twenty years. Wonderful, friendly staff, and great food. Since the reopening though, we've ordered three times from there. It was horrible each time. I was hoping it would get better but it hasn't. Step up your game Wah Wing!
