Bidrage med feedbackBuddy and I stopped for some breakfast, and this was an easy walk from the public dock at Clarence st bridge. Both enjoy d good food and friendly staff
Stopped there with a bunch of fellow bicyclists for a brunch/early lunch. Some had the soup and loved it. I had an excellent sandwich. All the team was very satisfied.Ordered the food at the counter and promptly delivered by the excellent and pleasant staff.A bicyclist friendly stop.
The breakfast is very good! I love the homemade homefries. My wife was very happy with the gluten free choices. Prices are great. (Less than $15 for both of us). Also, those may be the best cup of coffee I have ever had. To top it off, our server was super nice and happy to talk to us and give us some ideas on things to do while in town.
Enjoy stopping for decaf coffee frequently. Staff is happy to adjust menu items to make them vegan but you must be specific such as tell them no butter on veggie sandwich. They are happy to put specific vegetables that you like on sandwich. They make plain oatmeal if you ask even though it is not on menu chalkboard. Friendly and excellent service. Great tables outside to watch downtown activity and use wifi. Clean washrooms. Lots of tasty deserts. Friends enjoy the bacon and eggs.
My bike group occasionally travels the Friendship Bike Trail from the Peace Bridge in Fort Erie and Port Colborne. We have had a chance to sample both breakfast and lunch items. The Market Cafe has has not yet served up a bad entree! The portions are generous and the coffee is tasty. The breads are fresh and the pies are mouth-watering! (I recently had strawberry rhubarb and it was deliciously tart-sweet).Items are ordered at the counter, but a server will bring them to your table.Credit cards are accepted, but exchange is not given on US currency.
