City Hotel - Port Colborne

Definitely not fancy but if you are out to watch a NHL game and need some filling pub grub this is your kind of place. You go to the kitchen to order and pay cash when your food arrives but other then this little inconvenience the atmosphere is fun and the food is actually very tasty and large portions make sure that you are full when you leave. Could use a few more types of beer for those of us who don't like OV or Blue but can make do if you have to!

The chicken wings are the best value for the price. The cold beer and good lunches make for a satisfying meal. The staff is friendly and though the hotel is old, it is still a great place to visit.

Stopped in this place for the first time in about 5 years and it hadn't changed (and that's good.) There are a few taps featuring local brews as well as the standard fare. Shuffleboard is always nice and there were many TVs to watch games. This place is timeless. Love it.

Every wed, thu, Friday the City Taveren puts on one of the town's best buffets at a more than reasonable price. The food is always great, and never been disappointed . Keep up the excellent job. Ken S
