The Lunchbox - Port Burwell

Seen it was busy thought great. Sandwiches were gross. Stale bread and more bread than meats. It only took once to say we will never go there again.

Very tasty soup and sandwich special. All was made on the premises and good. The owner was friendly. The place was very clean and nice. You can always tell if the washrooms are clean and perfect, then they care !

We had a couple of breakfast sandwiches, a salad and a sub and everything was ok.The sandwiches seemed to be microwaved but I can't really confirm that.... only assume that because they were dry and luke warm...The washrooms and restaurant overall were really clean.Prices are fair and the person working was welcoming and friendly.The only thing that would really make this experience better would be if there was a radio or something - anything! - playing in there. It is completely and utterly silent which was really wierd... we would likely come back but would get take out.If anyone working there sees this review - take $50 and go get a radio!I hope you enjoyed my review.Thanks.

Stopped in for a quick lunch, service was good and quick, prices were fair. I was not overly impressed with my sandwich. It was OK but I honestly think I would have enjoyed Mr. Sub or Subway sandwiches more. Maybe I picked an off day so I might give it another try next time I am in town but I will try some of the other local spots first

The Lunchbox is a small specialty restaurant. Although breakfast is served it is in the form of omelettes or sandwiches. The menu is limited but the food was good.
