Johnny Rockets - Pooler

Not the Johnny Rockets that I used to know and love, where the staff jumped up and danced and or sang. Atmosphere was still good. Had plant based options, which my daughter liked, but meatless burger pattie was a little too spicy for her taste. (Lots of peppers mixed in. Also, it was soy, and she prefers black bean base. Do enjoy the 50 's vibe.

Sat for an hour before our order was taken. One server took our drink order, brought our drinks then disappeared for an hour. Another server came up and took our order, no food ever arrived and neither server came back. I even called the resteraunt while we were sitting there trying to get a server. I hear the phone ringing, the server standing next to it. Never picked it up. Super slow service. Never got our food.

Vegan milkshake and vegan cheese and vegan burger was very delicious.

Friendly service I guess but that’s pretty much the only positive thing I have to say here. The burger patty was maybe (and that’s a big maybe) 2 1/2 inches wide. The bun, which was not anything more than ordinary size, literally dwarfed the patty. I legit had to pick up the bun just to make sure there was meat on the burger. This thing looked like roughy the diameter of a hockey puck. I actually laughed a little when I saw it. It was so tiny. And the only flavor was basically that of the sauce. Also, I asked for a box a minimum 30 minutes ago. Seriously no exaggeration. Still sitting here. No box. No check. I wonder if I get up and leave if anybody would notice.

I was pleasantly surprised at the multiple vegetarian and vegan options, including vegan shakes! We also had the best tator tots I've had since middle school. The service was great as well.
