Il Pescatore - PONZA

Lovely food and friendly staff, will definitely be coming back, Nicole especially she looked after us all night and was lovely.

Il Pescatore was a great discovery in Ponza. A smallish restaurant away from the hustle and crowds of the port area, it features great views over the bay of Le Forna locality. It offers extraordinary food at very reasonable prices. In fact, from culinary standpoint, the restaurant deserves a Michelin star; unfortunately they must work to bring up the service to star level. However, a fabulous dining experience altogether.

A simple place for people looking for quality and excellent food. Excellent the quality of ingredients and the ability of the chef. Very kind service with a lovely view to the coast. A true jewel in a quite area far from the caos of the sea port, but close to Paradise in term of flavour. It will hit your heart. You will not be disappointed.

We were really impressed with pretty much everything ranging from from the excellent service to the fantastic food. If you’re in Ponza you simply have to go here!

A restaurant run by a father and his two sons--so welcoming and friendly--run it with reasonable prices and super yummy cuisine. We arrived with no reservation, and they treated us like old friends. It was just such an enjoyable experience. Our last night on the island, we emptied our fridge and cooked but had to go for a repeat of their amazing desserts.
