Boval Hutte - Pontresina

What a great place and amazing views of the glaciers and the mountains. In my view one of the best panoramas in the Swiss alps. Food is good but not cheap, however the view is priceless. Furthermore you need to take into account you are high up the mountains, all in all I really loved to come back to this place

The Boval hut of the swss alpine club is the end-point for the hike above the Morteratsch glacier or the starting point for climbs in the Bernina massive. We only hiked there and enjoyed some home-made fruit pie, which was delicious, and some cold tea. The offered food is simple, but the view is spectacular, and the service was friendly despite having to serve plenty of customers at the same time.

Very nice place. It's totally worth coming up there. Cake was very tasty!!!

A good 2 hours on a perfect mountain hiking trail from Morteratsch station, 2-3 places secured with fixed ropes in case anyone needs them. Descent approx. 1³ ⁴h. Great view of the glacier with Piz Bernina Co. Hut staff very friendly and accommodating, food great, prices ok.
