Bidrage med feedbackThe place and menu especially Pengkang and its Sambal very authentic... Restroom needs repair.
It was my first time to come here and will surely come back in the future. Traditional and authentic. Fine.
A sticky rice cake with Pisang (local banana) leaves. baked on top of the flaming coal .. served with saucy oysters. really heavenly delicious to miss when you are through Pengkang ..
I always buy her chili sauces, as a gift to my friend from the other city they really like it tho or just for my own consumption, well this place is very popular, but my favorite is just her sauces, it has something like special taste that only you can find it here. I like spicy food and sauces, so this really fits my tastes well try if you ever come across this place. It's really worth your time.
As the name suggests, the menu worth your shot is pengkang—sticky rice with dried shrimp (Indonesian: ebi). However, another dish that satisfies your culinary experience is sate kepah or shells satay. Be mindful when you have sambal kepah on your table; it does not come free with your other orders. As a matter of fact, it’s pretty expensive compared to the price of pengkang or sate kepah.
