Les Papillons - Pontarlier

Lovely place good food service somewhat slow excellent location with great views. playgarden in summer

I will probably repeat what has been already said: 1. Atmosphere is great there 2. Lady who served us food was Very friendly, she spoke English a bit, and was simply great. 3.FOOD DELICIOUS FANTASTIC AND EXCELLENT. for entre we had salmon tartare and tuna carpacio both great . Main dish I had veal (delicious! my wife sth spanish (she said mine was better it was delicious but her only excellent :D and the desert simply great!!!

Stopped in here for a late lunch on a saturday afternoon. we opted for the menu (25 euros per person, three courses and small appetizer) which was served in a timely fashion and accompanied that with a few glasses of very tasty and reasonably priced chardonnay. They had no problem opening a bottle for us even if we only wanted a glass each. I had the asparagus for starters and my girlfriend had salmon and then i had a whole duck breast for main dish and my girlfriend had some kind of fresh water fish. all was very tasty and i ate the entire breast, which is after all quite substantial quantity of meat! we finished of with a selection of delicious cheeses from the area followed by coffee. it turned out not to be such a quick lunch after all but highly recommendable.

Warm, friendly and attentive service, from the moment we walked in to the minute we left. The food was beautifully prepared and presented a work of art it was a pity we had to eat it! Very reasonable price we would have happily paid 50% more .. We would never have entered this restaurant without TripAdvisor, which is why we love it!

Atmosphère traditionnelle, vu le site, un côté plus typique franc comtois serait enrichissant.Plats copieux.Très agréable pour l'accès au sentier de randonnées du grand taureau.
