Cardinal Cafe - Pompton Lakes

One of my favorite places. Food is constantly great, the owner and the staff are very welcoming. They've even taken the time to learn everyone's names. If they were opened for dinner, we'd be there for dinner too.

No physical menu. You have to scan the QR code with your phone. I prefer good old paper menu. Coffee is very weak, it tastes like coffee colored hot water.

The food and service are good. This was a go to place. However, on our last visit we were charged $2 for an extra empty ! plate. I know times are hard but this is absurd.
