Bidrage med feedbackWe came here on a Friday night with a 7 pm reservation and were seated immediately upon arrival. It's a small restaurant but there were still a few tables open the whole time that we dined. Our table was only a few inches away from another couple which meant not much privacy in conversation but luckily they finished and left when we got our appetizers. They served us homemade bread right away which was warm and seemed to be right out of the oven. It was delicious and there was oil and vinegar on the table for dipping. We were offered more but declined to save room for dinner. We started with the fried burrata and calamari. Both were very good. For his entree my husband ordered the chicken parm with rigatoni which was a very large serving and was some of the best we've had! I had the pappardelle porcini which was was very flavorful and the pasta was cooked to perfection. We were too full to try any desserts and felt they were a bit overpriced. The service was good and we were very happy with the food and our experience!
Wow. wow. wow. Simply put- WOW! Do not judge this book by the cover as it is located in a very small low key plaza. When you 1st walk in- the small cafe ambiance and rustic decor embraces you with heavenly scents from the kitchen. You soon forget everyone else around when the Italian wine and food arrive. We indulged with delight on fresh baked panna cotta, fried burrata that melts in your mouth, rich and succulent lobster ravioli, amazing and flavorful chicken mushroom pappardelle and a finale of wonderful limoncello mascarpone cake. When we paid our tab we were making reservations for our next visit. Everything is made fresh from scratch daily and the owners take pride in everything the do and it shows. Can't wait to get back soon!
I stumbled across this wonderful restaurant while looking through yelp for restaurant ideas. I am so happy I did! This place is definitely a hidden gem don’t be discouraged by the location or prices, they are so worth it. The food is amazing, fresh, and everything is homemade. The menu changes daily or weekly according to local ingredients. My boyfriend and I had such a great time and Emilia, one of the owners and our waitress, was such a pleasure to talk to. The chef, the other owner, came out as well to check on us. We had the caprese appetizer, which was a fresh ball of burrata over tomato, and shared the veal Parmesan (veal was so tender) with homemade pasta and the cacio e pepe pasta. We also split a bottle of moscato and sampled a red wine that we loved (all imported from Italy). For dessert, my boyfriend got the afoggato and loved it! This dinner and experience made our entire vacation memorable. We will definitely be back when we come back to the area!
Don't let the mini-mall location fool you. This is the real deal, the chef (from Sicily) and his family man the front and back of the house and dish out some of the best pasta you'll find anywhere. The menu changes weekly or even daily and is kept on large chalkboards across one wall. Despite the mini-mall location, the inside is warm and inviting, the service is spectacular. The cacio e pepe is my favorite, not as dry as you may be used to, but you'll want more bread to soak up the sauce. They also do a sausage and mushroom pasta that is a marriage made in heaven. If it's not pasta you're after, the chicken parm is so tender you can cut it with a fork and it almost melts in your mouth. And don't miss the cannoli. The one slight drawback to all the praise is that it is a bit pricey for pasta.
This is an adorable little restaurant with a friendly staff and delicious food. Perfect spot for a date night or even a dinner with the girls. We will definitely be back!
