Bidrage med feedbackI'm here on a business trip not far from Osteria Raro. I decided to go and check out this place for myself having read the great many reviews. I was greeted and given a choice of tables to puck from. Then I was offered a small glass of prosecco, nice touch, in a lovely place. Having lived here in Italy for a few years this was not what I was expecting, it's more of a fine dining experience in an Osteria. I chose a selection of cheeses and asked for some oil. The young waiter brought me three varieties and the one I preferred best was the extra Virgin olive oil. The cheeses were absolutely amazing, the tastes were so different from what I had expected. I then had an entrecôte from Uruguay, I sprinkled some black pepper from Hawaii on it with some locally made salt. I'd two glasses of wine which I chose myself, primitivo from Puglia which went well with what I was eating. The young staff were very attentive and enthusiastic. If I comeback to Pomigliano d'Arco I'll be back to Osteria Raro. Thank you all
Raffaele owner and chef can be regarded as far as I am concerned a bit of hero investing time and money into this well run operation, in a place famous for a Fiat factory and thus not on the map of gastronomic tours ! Interiors very warm and cosy, the food was over all good, some primi with truffle and zucca o tagliatelle with sausage and Porcini very well done, what was outstanding was the pig from caserta marinated and grilled !! Excellent wine list with a right mark up , service attentive and polite. Raffaele charming and friendly, the 25 min drive from Naples was well rewarded !!
Everything is nice in this place. There are a lot of different steaks and everyone is so good. Thie evening we tried a Pasta plate fantastic and a Scottish steak. It's one of my favorite restaurant around the world.
Ambiente intimo e accogliente, cibo buonissimo (dagli antipasti alle svariate scelte di carni, passando per i primi) e staff professionale!!!
Sempre una garanzia l'osteria RaRo...piatti belli da vedere e buoni da mangiare, prodotti di qualità e che non si trovano ovunque, il tutto condito da un atmosfera soft, rilassante, che ti coccola. Volendo fare un appunto la tagliata di Angus era cotta non al sangue e un po' più duretta, ma comunque discreta. Alla prossima.
