A family lunch really great. Not only the food is exquisite with the fantastic kitchen in sight, but also the staff is really courteous and helpful. We left the cook's fantasy for the appetizer and I have to say he couldn't do it better. Although it is not in Rome has nothing to send to more blasoned restaurants. Very recommended.
On Tuesday 11th July I went to the Hortus restaurant inside the majestic selene hotel in Pomezia. I noticed with great surprise the improvements of the structure with the park and magnificent pool to relax even during a working day. The small hortus restaurant with about fifty covers, managed in an egregious manner by one of the best chefs of the Ialian panorama Raffaele Lenti. I was able to taste with my colleagues of the dishes sought but at the same time balanced.. the photos speak for themselves!! Yes, finally High Kitchen in Pomezia! The restaurant is located inside the Hotel Selene easy to reach and park) but it is not only hotel restaurant. The management is of the young and talented chef Raffaele Lenzi . Beautiful open kitchen, room with few covers and obviously express kitchen. Very professional service but at the same time friendly and warm. A short menu based on the research of the raw material of high quality and feels. Simple dishes, few ingredients and combinations also innovative but not exaggerated e.g. oysters and mango, cannolicchi with cocomero and peanut salad, Mazara shrimp raw with salted pistachio cream and candied lemon, carbonara calamaro). Excellent dishes of land and sea. We have tried mozzarella caps with astic in cheek: super!! Delicate and very balanced. Good choice of second dishes also here both of land and sea. Interesting fried mullet on asparagus soups, vanilla and lemon. Superlative red tuna with certification of origin Excellent, delicious and well presented desserts. Good wine card. Honest prices for a very high quality. Really recommended and it is worth coming to us especially from Rome.
