Fox's Pizza Den - Pomeroy

We had pizza and a hoagie with potato wedges. they were good and our waitress was attentive. we would go back.

Great local pizza place with excellent waiting staff. really enjoyed the thin crust pizza, sub-sandwich and boneless bbq wing. family was very satisfied with eating.

Patio is not pet-friendly. if it rains at all. even if it is over, they close the terrace. they wanted to eat here on the way camping and made it impossible

Enjoyed the pizza and spaghetti. Friendly wait staff, amazing view (if you choose to sit outside on the covered patio).

I was having an extremely bad day after getting some bad news at my doctor's appointment. So, I asked my hubby if he would like to take a drive over to Pomeroy, Ohio to discuss my findings. We were going to a restaurant we had never tried before and after getting there found out it was closed so I was very disappointed. So we went to Fox's Pizza Den. The lady seated us after we waited for about 3 minutes, I asked to be seated away from the door because I was cold. She looked at me like I asked to be escorted to Mars. She did not take our drink orders and said our waitress would be here shortly. We waited about 7-8 minutes, I was ready to leave but here she came reaking of cigarette smoke..so I guess she had to have a cigarette first ??? hum...! Tony wanted the Philly Cheesesteak Stomboli with a Draft Budweiser and I ordered the small personal Pizza Pepperoni and Cheese only and unsweetened tea with lemon. The food took a while to be prepared and it finally arrived. My pizza tasted like a frozen pizza I could have cooked at home for about $3 so I was very distrubed to find out that I paid $11 for that small four slice pizza. They charged me $8.99 for the pizza and another $2 OUTRAGEOUS!!!! Our check was $37 tax, food and tip...she never came back to check on us and never refilled my drink...I tipped her $2..I was upset with prices and services here...normally our food and service is good, must be new management or owners!!!!
