Villa Oasi - Pollica

We had 2 meals at the restaurant whilst we stayed in the apartments here. The food was first class with Rosa obviously being a tremendous cook and the setting is so romantic with clear views out to sea. The pasta, fish meat were all perfectly cooked and the wine accompaniment very good. If you're in the area, you must try here

If you are visiting Polilca, Acciaroli or the surroundings stop at Villa Oasi for dinner or lunch and a swim in the lovely pool. This year's best dish is Paccheri with green pepper, pecorino Romano and anchovies. Not be be missed are lovely pasta dishes and fresh catch of the day. Villa Oasi combines he talents of its owners Catello, architect and his wife Rosa, the chef. The setting is contemporary, clean and peaceful and boasts a fabulous view of the sea. Dinner is candlelit by the pool with atmospheric music. This is not a typical Cilento menu, in fact, it is a welcome break from the fried food. Then fish is the highlight of the menu. There is also a good selection of wines and Prosecco, including a rose Prosecco. There are lovely rooms in a residence style arrangement with kitchenettes and all air conditioned and contemporary. A great oasis of peace and luxury! Love it!
