We were here in september 2017 when we were on our slumber week. we live in the usa and stopped on a cruise in the opposite. we have explored and stumbled a cute cafe/bakery with a fantastic view, and had luck enough to. there is the perfect time to enjoy the terrace! my man had a small coffee that had tasted him an orange-y/citrus. I wish I knew what it was because we're talking about it almost 5 years later! we hope to be here again one day. We stop to make an aperitif on the flight and instead the strategic location, pleasant temperature, the table place, the comfortable bench, the languorino and the fact that they have a minimal menu pushed us to eat and we were well. attentive and fast service, good dishes in particular fave and chicory, good choice of wines, correct prices. Good.
It all started with the happiness of the staff. Genuinely welcoming and accommodating. We started with Spritz on the street but were able to move to the petit balcony hanging out over the Adriatic. Wow. This was so special. We started sharing a carpaccio and sashimi salmon. The sashimi was served with toast and butter and soy sauce. The flavours that came from dipping the salmon into the soy and then placing on the butter and toast were extraordinary. There were lovely flavours bouncing around my mouth that I couldn't identify perhaps the soy had other flavours added. The waiter said that this dish was more common further North. It was a first for me being used to straight sashime dishes with wasabi and soy sauce! Frisa followed with desert of Tiramisu. The tiramisu was served in a beautiful large tea cup and the flavour was spectacular. Wine was Graci Etna Rosso a nice drop. Highly recommend
