Hotel & Restaurant Le Cardinal

Average no more. The service was really bad, but the food was acceptable, so 3 is a fair assessment. I had a Sallad Landoise that certainly quite a lot of pork and Fois grass, but the vegetables where few and "tired" and the...dish did not look very appealing. For 16,50 € I would certainly expect more. The dessert (moelleux au chocolat with vanilla ice cream) was good and tasty, but why don't you waste an additional 30 seconds to make it look fresh and tasty? The whipped cream was melted when it reached the table and the whole plate looked rather “sad”. This restaurant was the only one that was opened at night, we made a stopover; if you have other options, make sure to choose one of them!

The hotel staff was very helpful and had a room to store the bikes overnight at the hotel (free)

From calais we drove to south and enjoyed the beautiful land of france tired we came to le cardinal made the most welcome the room was comfortable with tw and en suite we slept well after a fantastic traditional eating breakfast was a joy and we...departed le cardinal noteing to return this wonderful vacationer recovery.

Stayed here on route to through northern France. Hotel is clean but tired. Be careful and don't agree to breakfast when checking in, it is not included in the price. They charge €9 per person for the worst food I have ever seen, a rip...off.

Stayed one night whilst cycle touring. Friendly and helpful check in. Bikes stored safely in locked conference room. Room simply furnished but very clean and comfortable. 2 pillows a rare treat. 6 towels excellent. Good wifi speed. Nice location on a quiet town square....Superb patisserie 50 yards away. Ate there in the evening as reviews said it was best place in Poix. Excellent steak and chips (lots of them) washed down with Cidre. Lovely desserts and coffee. Overall very good vfm.
