Old Western Saloon

Great spot one could say fit for the queen herself. They wouldn't be wrong. Has pool tables and both kinds of music country and western. A real treat.

Guitars Cadillacs, hillbilly music... Love dive bars so if you want a fancy drinks and upscale decor this ain't your kind of place partner... This is a real bar, where real people drink. Music, dancing, probably fighting too on Saturday nights but I was there on a Sunday and they must have cleaned up all the blood before I got there lol. Leave your pretentions at the door, you put your pants on one leg at a time just like the rest of us drinkers do.

Made a quick stop in this quaint fun little town and needed a beer after a long drive. Of course I’m always a fan of stopping in an older style pub and the Old Western Hotel fit the bill. A wooden bar and antique fixtures gave the feeling that cowboys may roll in at any minute, throw a heavy coin up on the bar, and ask for a bottle of whiskey, a room, and a lady. But back to 2018, this old style saloon has a nice relaxed feel and pool tables in the back. Would’ve liked to be there when it was busier, but listening to the locals talk about the fires close by was interesting and I met a chef who made for an entertaining quick stop. Lot of character here and the draught Lagunitas beer was smooth and delicious. Worth a stop!

Great place for a quick stop or a night out. Very nice staff, good drinks and an amazing feel of being in an old Saloon, they even use an antique national cash register. It’s worth noting that this is a cash only place, but they do have an ATM inside the bar. Wife and I will definitely come back when we are around.

Nice hole in the wall bar with a nice pellet-fed fireplace right in the middle of the bar. Bartender was friendly quick. Drinks were pretty good. Local crowd seemed a little obnoxious loud at first, but that was just from the drinks. Turned out that they were very friendly! I'm sure the weekends are a lot of fun.
