We are here twice during our week long Poggio Mirteto stay. In our 35 days in Italy, this restaurant was probably the least expensive for the great food and wine they offer! The appetizer menu is delicious as are the pizzas. The house wine is only 7 euros per bottle both the red and white were very good. Highly, highly recommend!

We stopped in Poggio for a week and ate here twice. The decor inside is excellent and the service and food equally good. Really good pasta dishes and pizza. Reasonably priced and good value for money. One evening my wife ordered a pasta dish that was really bitter (I'm sure it was meant to taste like it did but when I say really bitter (piquant) I mean really really bitter) She could only eat about a third of it. The waitress Emanuela noticed and ensured we were not charged for the dish. So all in all a very good place and as for Emanuela's smile it was a thing of great beauty.

We enjoyed a couple of lovely meals here in the last 2 weeks. We were able to sit outside on the terrace at the rear of the restaurant. Both nights were busy full of locals. A great choice of menu and kids loved it too. Can recommend the Cocktail pizza. Basically a prawn cocktail salad on pizza....yum. Desserts are amazing!

Cliente affezionata a questa location suggestiva al centro storico del paese di Poggio Mirteto. Non mi soffermo nella descrizione di ogni singola pietanza, in quanto il cibo proposto dalla padrona di casa Marianna è di primissima qualità e cucinate alla perfezione. Un ristorante davvero superlativo per non parlare della pizza speciale cotta con forno a legna.Complimenti allo staff ed al servizio impeccabile ed attento sotto ogni punto di vista.Super consigliato

We went here as we are staying locally, this wasn't our first choice as the restaurant we saw was closed, we then asked a local for traditional cuisine and he kindly walked us in to the restaurant and it worked out beautifully. The staff were understanding as we ploughed through our phrase book, trying to speak accurate Italian as is this is not a tourist area. The food was gorgeous, we both had steaks that were tenderised and cooked wonderfully. Charming town, charming people, very relaxed and would recommend to anyone who is in the area to go here and enjoy your evening meal. Would like to thank the staff for a lovely evening for me and my partner.
