Peking Chef - Plymouth

We usually go to our regular restaurant, but it was closed, so we ended up at this Chinese place, which is our local spot but we hadn't been in years. It was a disappointing experience. We should have read the reviews beforehand. The prawn crackers were stale, the chips were overcooked, and the chicken wings were unappetizing. Save your money and dine elsewhere, or just make a sandwich instead.

We decided to try this restaurant as our usual spot had a long wait, but we seriously regretted it. This was the worst Chinese food we have ever had - tasteless and overcooked. We will not be returning.

The food delivered was terrible and cold. I paid through Just Eat and then was asked to pay an additional £3 at the door. Save your money and don't bother ordering from here, it seems like they just serve frozen meals.

The food was ready half an hour after collection time, which would have been forgivable if it didn’t taste like dirty dish water. 50% of the order was burnt and soaked in oil. Over all this food is just musty and not worth the money at all. Please don’t be fooled by the few good reviews it does have, they are lying to you.

Had the best Chinese I’ve even had, the sweet and sour chicken balls were amazing and was the beef and mushrooms, spring rolls massive! Chips were good as was the egg friend rice.. you have to speak as you find and I have to say despite reading some bad reviews, it was amazing!!
