Jake's Cafe - Plymouth

Excellent customer service. Never had anything like that in my life. I stayed and ate, everywhere in Europe at some really stylish places where waiting staff would prevent my every need - but nothing comes near the top notch customer service I received from the 3 guys standing behind the counter table today (but above all those on the frying functions). Cheesy Chips were just as good as they were 15 years ago when I went here for lunch.

Well, what can I say we just had your daily breakfast for a father day morning, and it was absolutely fantastic. Fast effective and efficient delivery with a smile. Thanks again Jakes, will definitely order from you again. For anyone visiting Plymouth, we recommend Jakes, 5 stars

Jake is a fantastic food. Open when you need it most. Friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere. Fair prices fantastic portions.

I have a sharp chicken sandwich. The chicken was fine, had a good crunch, but the spices and taste were just not all there. Willing to go back and try a real Burger next time and maybe update my review.

Visited here on Saturday evening for some food with friends. The food itself was good but the service was awful. There was a guy in a bandana serving and he was being ridiculously rude, I'm guessing as he assumed everyone in there was drunk and he could get away with it. Have visited a few times in the past but honestly I don't think we'll be going here again.
