Bidrage med feedbackThe meal we had in L'Atelier was possibly the worst meal of the whole holiday and not even cheap and cheerful! I think the cook had emptied the salt mill over my meal, as I kept all the way through crispy salt. He even made the salad so salty that it was impossible. Do not repeat if you stay in Ibis, you will find somewhere else to eat!
We were in the IBIS next door and thought we were going to this restaurant. A lady was on her own to take the orders and serve in the restaurant that was not excessively busy, but she was very well copied and greeted us...warmly. We ordered the classic steak and I can honestly say we never had such a steak. It was so nicely cooked, tender, so well seasoned, and absolutely delicious. The fact that it was huge was a bonus. That was the best steak we've ever had in France, well done you cook. Sad Capitals Restaurants are always only quick grocery stores with frozen chips and steak that you do not in your teeth.
I was several times, but the last time I had the Faux Fillet, that was really good 9 out of 10
Went here for dinner when staying at the adjacent Ibis, as real dinner is not available at the hotel. The 'welcome ' from the guy on duty was lukewarm to say the best, and he seated us and all newcomers close together in the one section...of the restaurant. I assume this was to make his job easier, but felt really cramped when most of the rest of the place was empty. I have to say that we found the food to be quite good. We had fish, duck and pork (we went twice! so were not caught out by badly cooked steak. The first time, we went for one of the menus which we thought would keep costs down, but more than 5 euros each for an aperitif and correspondingly high prices for water and wine, made it very far from an inexpensive meal. The second time we went we avoided the aperitifs and the wine, and settled for water and one beer, which made a huge difference to the bill. The waiter was very efficient, but he was really cold and unfriendly. I didn 't see him smile once, and he seemed very impatient when people were deciding or asking questions. There was a sense of entitlement, as if he was doing us a major favour in serving us. If there was any reasonable alternative, I would eat anywhere else when staying at the Ibis. Trouble is, there is no other good option very close by maybe other reviewers can suggest somewhere?
Good fast restaurant, quality view very good price, small concern one of the waitresses a little soft but otherwise everything is good. It's a nice decor.............. Never disappointed with the dish of the day.
