We came due to the good reviews and were not disappointed. Here you can eat delicious and sit with beautiful views of the lake and the castle. We came around just before three and were lucky enough to close the kitchen around 15 (to then open again in the evening, which is so nowhere visible)Kid-friendliness: There are high chairs, a changing table and the service is very child-friendly.

The food is really delicious. Everyone finds something for his taste. The card is not too big and every food is absolutely freshly prepared. My steaks are really always on the point and the meat is absolutely best quality. The staff is very nice and absolutely polite.. You feel very comfortable and the restaurant invites you to stay longer for another drink. Everyone in the corner can just put my heart on a trip. I can only recommend reservations as the place is very well visited, not only for tourists time. A visit to the Old Cat is an integral part of our traveling Baltic Sea

Very good food and excellent service. The service (probably the woman from the owner) is really very sweet and attentive, we have not laughed so much for a long time. A wonderful lady who understands her job. And the self-made remulade is a dream.

We were spontaneous guests and were very friendly received and kindly served. Our food (denders and perch) was very delicious, the portions well dimensioned. We sat in the conservatory overlooking Lake Plönsee. We liked it and we can recommend the old cat.
