Purple Turtle - Pleasant Grove

Ate here as a kid moved away came back 20 years later and the food is still amazing the restaurant is clean an absolute model of a great small business.

I love this place it is a staple in Utah county and will be for many years to come

I have been coming to the Purple Turtle since I was a young kid. In that time many members of my family have worked there and I have eaten there more times than I can count. My favorite is the halibut fish and chips, and that is what I order every time I visit. I made the mistake of letting my daughter have a bite of my halibut, and now fish and chips is the only thing that she wants to order which is great except fish and chips is almost twice as expensive as a hamburger. I love PT. It is a Pleasant Grove institution.

The food is good and the shakes are amazing. I love the variety of sides, with fries, tater tots, and onion rings. The seasonings on the fries are absolutely amazing and definitely worth trying. Be sure to get twice as many napkins as you think you'll need to, because their delicious sauce is not skimped on. And save some room for their shakes. They are large and delicious.
