Roots Bakery Cafe - Playa Samara

I came here very frequently while I was in Sámara, almost every day. Really loved the coffee and baked goods, and I tried as many as I could. I highly recommend the sausage egg and cheese sandwich. I also got the cheeseburger twice and that was good as well. Loved this place, highly recommend .

Best place to get breakfast! They have some parking or you can walk up. Get in line and order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. They have seating out front if you want the sun they have indoor seating with fans and they have outdoor seating on the very shaded back area. Tons of baked items to pick from that were all delicious. We tried this place the first day and came back everyday after that. They even have fresh baked bread. Highly recommend.

1st day, had the farmers breakfast with patties. Delicious!! Never seen such lean sausage before. Also had the breakfast croissant. Huge and delicious!! Smoothies fresh and cold. Very fast and friendly service. 100% coming back.

This is a rare gem! It's nearly impossible to find a bakery/cafe this good in Costa Rica. Everything looks great, tastes amazing, and they have excellent service too. We had a hot breakfast here today, and it was super good. Don't pass up this place when visiting Samara. Try the chocolate banana crossaint you'll never be the same again! I would highly recommend eating here.
