Mc Carthy's - Playa del Carmen

The QR-Scan menu is only available in Spanish due to covid. the waiter was not helpful at all. actually he was crossed, which is unusual in playa. eating was at best mediocre. the music was so loud that you couldn't talk to anyone. I would not recommend this restaurant!

My wife and I stopped here on September the 18th, after a lot of Mexican food she was in the mood for a burger. We both got there classic burger, what a mess! I'm not sure what meat they used, but it was not good,...although it was hard to taste amongst all the toppings. The burger was slathered in mustard and just a wet mess. Both the top and bottom buns were soggy due to all the mustard, mayo and ketchup. The lettuce was so wilted that you couldn't even rip it with your teeth when taking a bite, the whole leaf kept pulling out. My wife ate about half hers and proclaimed it the worst burger she has ever had. I finished most of mine out of spite, a foolish move that had me out of commission the next day.

Service is very poor, tables are unsanitized, bathrooms are disgusting, no soap, or toilet paper, waitresses come in with buckets of water to flush them and then serve food which is cold and looks like it’s been scraped off the floor.

Irish pubs are normally known for piping hot burgers, fresh salads n cold beers. Well 1/3 ain’t too bad I guess? If you’re into into mystery ground beef burgers served with cold wilted fries then this is your must do! Their only salad came with...surprisingly cold hard popcorn chicken excellent for door stops or to toss at enemies. Only redeeming factor at this establishment is live music. Skip the food come for the cheap drinks n live music. Staff was attentive and reason for 2nd star

En general es bueno, excelente ubicación, buena bebida y buenos precios. Lo malo. Actitud de algunos meseros, tamaño del lugar, hace muchísimo calor en terraza (deberían poner más ventiladores). Cuando inicia la banda en vivo cierran todas las puertas y no se disfruta si estas afuera.
