La Palapa del Guero - Playa del Carmen

Angel who manages the waiting staff is a gentleman and great what he does. he's watching everything like a mother. the last time when the kitchen was the mango pieces in the guacamole I never saw before, and it was from the charts. like the tostadas, the filets and everything else. This can not be one of the easiest places to find if they live in a resort or are located near the 5th avenue. instead, if they are accommodation located on the jungle side of the federal road, or if they are a food researcher, we recommend that they make the effort to come to la palapa del guero. like any medium sized, livingyp Mexican restaurant, it is a no-frills place with very simple decor. a large palapa covers the restaurant floor. a lot of seating is available at two quite important avenuen. a large television screen plays loud Latin music. the atmosphere is very solid. the great shade here is the whip. our employees have lived in this region for more than 20 years, and all, without a vote against, agree that the best mixed whip is made here. I had an awesome, unforgettable Seafood Dinner there. As appetizer we ordered Ceviche, which was incredibly good and fresh. I ordered the Coconut Shrimp not knowing that I ordered a plate of heaven. It was undoubtedly the best shrimp I had in my entire...life. The crunchiness and flavor were on point! My friends ordered also one of the restaurant 's specialities and they were as amazed as I was. But not only the food was made with love, the service was also outstanding. They could speak English, were always paying attention and helped out on everything. They definitely deserved their tip! I can totally recommend this restaurant you will definitely not regret it ;
