Ictio Fish House - Playa del Carmen

Great place we have gone multiple times enjoyed everything! super fresh seafood, I highly recommend

The food is well prepared and so tasty. I was pleasantly surprised and the oysters are to die for. My new favourite spot in Playa Del Carmen

The seafood was delicious and cocktails (La Palomilla and La Rumba) were lovely. We had the calamari, jumbo shrimps and octopus with fried plantains and grilled veggie sides. We also had the sesame flan but would say that was the only disappointing part of the meal.

We wanted to visit this restaurant in 2021 but unfortunately it was closed. Fast forward to 2023 and we happened to stumble upon it- open! So lucky. They were able to get us in with only a 15 minute wait at the bar. Staff were so nice, and the food was amazing. We got the grilled fish — perfection. Guacamole was tasty. The ceviche was in a coconut milk and was heavenly. We cannot wait to return.

Food is good and well presented. Service is fine. Prices are in line with those in Playa, nowadays. It's a small place and it's popular, therefore it's better to reserve. I would go back
