Bidrage med feedbackTo be honest, I have no high expectations as this is in a casino. Notwithstanding this, dinner was excellent. Our table had blue spot oysters, cold smoked salmon, cesear salad, halabut and aged rib eyes steak. The food was perfectly cooked and the service was on site. The atmosphere was beautiful and the wine cocktail list was extensive. And to round off everything, the bill was very reasonable. I would compare this restaurant with Mortons or Ruth Chris.
Henry's bar. You have to try Henrys. Sit at the bar and let the beautiful bartenders order for you. The food is fantastic, and the hospitality is amazing. I had the Ribeye Steak and a bunch of Tempura asparagus. The Lavender Cream Brulee for Dessert was from this world. (Not to mention the great selection of local wines, some of the best round. I didn't care to spend the money for such a great time. I know where to eat.
Scallop dinner was very delicious. Always enjoyed the comfortable environment and friendly staff. It was New Year's Day tired employees well kept.
Great place to eat. We haven't been with Henry's since Covid Hit for about two years. The menu has changed, no rack of lamb and no more escargot. We came here for these two elements but did not find it on the menu. This is the reason for a 4 star rating.
Henry’s re-opened, and are we glad. We dined recently and had a phenomenal meal. Henry’s is one of only Two restaurants in all of ElDorado County that we would consider for a special night out; and it was. Service was amongst the best we have received at any establishment- Including our trips overseas. All of the staff were great, and a special kudos to Naomi and Katie who were over the top. So memorable. The food is still excellent. Calamari appetizer was delicious. We both selected the filet florentine for our entree. They were both cooked perfectly (One medium-rare and One medium-well). The filets were juicy, tender and lean. Our only suggestion on the food is a little more seasoning on the protein and mashed potatoes (and watch the consistency) to bring out a depth of flavors. But don’t get us wrong! We’re nitpicking on an excellent meal! We’re going back next month for our birthdays. One of us had the Crème brûlée which was described was the best we’ve ever had. The chocolate dessert I had was very good. Great selection of wine, and they were very helpful in helping us pick out the perfect wine for our meal. The only negative is you must walk thru the casino, with all the cigarette smoke, to dine at Henry’s.
