Newcastle Produce - Placer County

A ride a bicycle, a lot… When I look at the route sheets for the various clubs that I ride with attend to pick ones that stop at Newcastle produce. It's hard to describe this place without using very positive flowery words. Everything they have is great, produce, mind-boggling array at the deli counter, indoor and outdoor seating, a wide array of craft sodas… The worst thing about this place is trying to decide what you want to eat!

Best deviled eggs here! (Thank you to nice lady who makes them!)One of my coffee hang outs.My favorite is the cardamon late.Love the food, grocery store and gifts here!Try the Cooper products, as they are wonderful.I love the chapsticks, body salts, body lotions and so on.Thank you for my yummy kale, cranberry, and apple salad today. Outstanding quality and Very LOCAL produce, wine, etc. Worth the slightly higher prices compared to grocery stores. Unique offerings. Worth finding if never been there before. Won't regret stopping and will likely come back when in the area or a local! Sandwiches to order are the BOMB!

Its name does not do it justice. It is so much more than a produce store, although it has a beautiful array of fresh fruit and vegetables. It's a gourmet specialty food store hosting delicious local products. It's a sweet little gift store with cute items such as mugs, tea towels and handmade soaps. But best of all it is one of my favorite Wheelmen coffee spots with a huge selection of yummy muffins scones displayed beside an appetizing delicatessen.It is a hidden gem minutes off of i80 making it a perfect stop when traveling to Tahoe.
