The White Cross - Pivijay

Wow. I was blown away by this place. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, I felt like they were very inclusive and also gave my dog treats. The veggie roast dinner was probably the best I’ve ever had. The pub itself is very cosy and traditional and has wonderful river views. A really nice place.

Absolutely one of my favourite pubs in London. Almost regardless of the weather I try and sit outside for the views up to Richmond Bridge and the closeness to the river. It almost feels like the countryside! The insight is snug and the top floor affords some excellent views. The beer choice is broad and the food, especially the Sunday roasts are superb.

Great spot for a pub, right on the river. Bustling when we were there at 5pm with our kids after exploring Hampton Court. We were keen to be amongst it and soak up the atmosphere so got a table and grabbed a few drinks and snacks. Hot chips were so good we ordered them again and the cheese and charcuterie board was delicious. A few people came in with dogs so must be a dog friendly place.

The smallest burger ever £16! Not very good, either. Seriously, don't go here for the food. Good location though. Beer not very well kept. One of our party had a bad pint. The staff member refused to change it and then asked the manager to come and taste it. Very strange.
