Branca - Pittsford

Everything was excellent. But the hostess we all in our party felt she was not dressed appropriate. Very low cut top and those holes in the jeans. Not a pleasant look for a hostess in a nice restaurant.

Food was very good. We had several different starters and all were delicious. The salmon was beautifully seared and was served with a perfectly paired sauce. The branzino, a mild white fish, was excellent. We didn't sample any desserts so I can't speak to them, but I would definitely recommend and return to the restaurant.

Food was not good, service was not altogether friendly. It used to be a great restaurant, but no longer. We will not return.

Meatball antipasto was bland. Waited over 15 min after ordering dessert. Waitress was good but seemed she had too many tables; did not come back to fill water glasses. Just an OK eating experience.

I had the lasagna, which was delicious. It had so many thin layers and was served on its side. It was unlike any other lasagna I've ever had. The service was friendly and attentive. I also had a kale salad with sugared pecans and a lemon vingarette......very large!
