Tgi Fridays Pittsburgh Consol Energy Center

Went to Fridays before the Justin Timberlake concert. It was extremely busy; we had a 6:00 reservation and weren’t seated until 6:20. Food service was slow, but fortunately we had plenty of time. Friday’s is great for decent bar food at a reasonable price. The beer was cold too!

There needs to be a better system for event nights. I had a reservation which was great however my 12 year old daughter and I had to sit in the noisy bar. It was overwhelmingly crowded and uncomfortable for her.

We were seated at a table by the hostess. We sat at the table for 30 minutes, and no employee ever greeted or served us. We told an employee, and they did not get our waitress. We left.

I like TGI Fridays as a rule. This one appeared to be run down compared to most of the ones I visit.

I made a reservation through OpenTable for April 16, 2019. When I arrived at the restaurant and mentioned my reservation, the receptionist informed me that they don't check for reservations during the nearby hockey game. I found it puzzling that OpenTable allows reservations if the restaurant isn't going to acknowledge them. Thankfully, we arrived a bit early and were able to secure a table without any issues. However, had we arrived later, we might not have been so fortunate.
