Sesame Garden - Pittsburgh

Nothing is more frustrating than to order takeout, and get home to find the wrong order. I ordered steamed vegetables and shrimp. When I got home I found steamed vegetables and meat. I am a pescatarian. They have screwed up my takeout order multiple times. I live in Mt. Washington, so I keep giving them chances to get it right. They are not capable and definitely can’t seem to take a simple order. Check your takeout, if you place an order at Seseme Garden. My advice would be to find a different Chinese restaurant. These people are far too incompetent.

My family took me out to dinner for my birthday. We decided to try this place. We have a 2 year old toddler, 1 year old baby, and teenager. They were VERY accommodating. Things can be a little hectic with the little ones. Our waiter was very nice and tentative. The food was very fresh, and very large portions. We definitely will be back again!

Wow!! Really good! I haven't been here for awhile but it appears they stepped it up quite a bit. I got the lemon chicken lunch special, delicious. Chicken was cooked perfectly and it was a good balance of quality to quantity. Wonton soup actually had flavor and wasn't an afterthought. The also have a selection of healthy options, some without MSG seasoning if you are sensitive to it. The inside of the restaurant was REALLY clean too. It's a nice relaxing atmosphere, great if you want something quieter than most of the Shiloh St bar restaurants. Owner is very hospitable.

The food was fantastic, but I particularly want to shout out the employee that helped us today! We accidentally placed a take-out order instead of delivery. It was late and nearly closing time, but this employee brought us our food on a busy holiday. Thank you! I'll definitely be ordering from here again whenever I'm visiting Pittsburgh!

Have to say this place has the best Chinese food I have ever had ever! I've eaten at quite a few, several in Chinatown Philadelphia. Anyways, We arrived not too far before closing but we were welcomed in to sit down and eat. We were starving. We'd been at the hospital all day long. The host was very gracious and the food was delicious this is now my favorite Chinese restaurant of all times. Can't wait to go there again when we're in town.
