Dive Bar Grille - Pittsburgh

I went to this restaurant for a birthday brunch with my daughter. I ordered the Big Hummus wrap, but on a sandwich instead. It had grilled portobello, grilled peppers, hummus, and arugula with many side options available. There are already so many great choices on the menu, and they are willing to customize most dishes, even making them vegan-friendly.

My husband and I were so excited to go here after a long morning at the zoo. I ordered the fried chicken. The waitress came back and said when the cook did The chicken all the breading fell off so he’s making you a new one. She brought me the biggest disgrace of a meal I have ever had. There was two pieces of chicken the size of my thumb dried and hard as a rock and no breading on them. The breading was a huge pile and black!!! No chicken! He did NOT make new chicken and she knew it. The plate was so hot from sitting in the light with the Mac and cheese(hard on top from the burning light! We didn’t say a word(which I regret now! . She took the plate and charged me $22. I waited tables for a long time. Big no no! You ask if everything was ok or was there a problem! Not ignore! Worst waitress and worst food.

The Dive Bar has the casual feel of a local, unpretentious bar grill. A large bar with a separate room with more seating comes together nicely with a much better bar food menu and even better execution. Big juicy burgers, delicious salads, surprising apps with a solash of creativity throughout the menu. Great place for a drink and a tasty and filling meal.

Pretty good place good food. When I order a salad over the phone and I specify NO BACON I would like NO BACON !!! It happened 3x already please get this handled correctly!!!
