New Japan Restaurant - Pittsboro

Shocked that this is rated so highly. This worse than hibachi japanese you would get a a mall food court. Much worse. Its really embarasing that is is the only thing in pittsboro and that people think this is good. Yikes. Anyone who considers them somewhat versed in any ethnic food stay clear.

The "crab rangoon" came rolled as spring rolls (real crab rangoon in picture for menu) with only 1% crab in it. The ginger sauce was actually really hot spicy sauce. Usually they are better than this. Pretty disappointing.

VERY GOOD Steak with chicken and vegetables. Tender and tasty! Large portions too! But. The rice was not fried: it was overcooked, pasty white rice. No flavor. And the spring rolls were still cold inside. : I had plenty to eat... and usually food is very good here. Just today was not a good day forfried rice and spring rolls.

They rarely send me what I ordered and the times the order was correct the sauce is always missing smh
