Pochi Intimi - PISTOIA

I've been traveling throughout Italy for the past three weeks from Sicily up to Tuscany through the Amalfi coast and this was the best meal that I have had. I have had great food along the way, but this was a meal that sticks with you. One that you close your eyes and can remember every bite. The gorgonzola truffle gnocchi was cooked to perfection and had the most amazing flavor. It was rich, but not overly so. It was perfect. My friend that was with me loved her dish as well. We then had the chocolate soufflé and were in heaven. In fact, we decided to return the night before we leave. The couple that ran this restaurant were so kind and charming. I honestly don't understand how this place isn't packed every night. Finally, we can't believe how reasonably priced this meal was.

Such a great place, a shame that we were the only people having lunch here. The lady was super friendly, also for our child. The gnocchi gorgonzola was superb as well as the pinsa with mortadella and pistachio.

The lady is amazing, the place is amazing, the food, atmosphere mire than expected Real Italian vibe. For a moment i thought i lived upstairs somewhere and just went to have a nice meal and conversation with someone i’ve known forever. Suuuper

We had sandwiches at Pochi Intimi. They were freshly made with local products. It was a tuscany original. The store owner was very kind and welcoming. She also made me a glutenfree sandwich. We also bought a homemade wine and it was great und special.
