Soo good! Parked on the side of S Higuera and it was delicious. We got the Huli Huli chicken and brisket plates. Insanely fresh and tender. Must try if you 're driving by or if you have time to chase 'em down!

Let me start off by saying it's more of a 3.5 star review than a 4 but if we round up it's closer to 4 than 3. First time trying this food truck out and glad I did. Service was friendly and quick. Food is put out pretty darn fast. I grabbed 2 plates and my wife a third. I'll say that if you get food here you're paying and going for the protein. The rice and macaroni were nothing special. The macaroni was definitely slightly above average from other places but the rice was just plain white rice. We didn't upgrade to the fried version so can't speak for that. Brisket- honestly this was spot on. Very tender and flavorful. You get the smokiness and that bbq sauce was a great compliment. Probably the best brisket I've had. I will say that the portion seemed small. I get it's a premium meat but one strip only seems small, especially when the rice and Mac are just ok. Chili pepper chicken- this one may have been my fault for expectation. I thought it would have some small kick to it but it's basically chicken in a sweet sauce. The sauce is good but a little bit too sweet and wish there had been a chili kick. The chicken was juicy and cooked well. The breading was well done as well and overall it was fine but I wasn't blown away like the brisket. The portion here was great. Quick note, I had a bite of my wife's kalua pork and it was tender and full of flavor. I think my biggest takeaway was the proteins are done really well but the brisket portion seemed small for the price and the sides are nothing to rave about. Still I recommend checking them out if just for the brisket.

Such amazing food, they were so fast and had great service. I can't wait to bring my husband to this food truck. He will be so stoked. So much food for such a great price.

This is how great your food is...,,.,,Had a ticket to the Honeydrops et al yesterday and was too wiped out after a hectic day to roll out for the festivities. My best pals got me a Brisket Plate and delivered it to my house in Morro Bay. Made my day. I have eaten BBQ across America and your Brisket stands up to any I've had in Texas , which in my opinion is the gold standard of Brisket. Thanks guys.

My wife and I had dinner here tonight and I'm here to tell you, the food was out of sight. They had a beef rib plate as a special so I got it. Oh my gosh!! That was one of the best beef ribs I've ever had. Large, super tender and a great sauce. Oh, and the macaroni salad was terrific. My wife had huli huli chicken and it was just as good. This place if definitely a do over.
