Good but not amazing. Good value though set menu 4 courses for €35. We were recommended this restaurant by locals, so had expectations. While we begged for a table all the awards and Michelin stickers the restaurant proudly displayed looked impressive. They kindly accommodated us without a reservation great. Cheap house wine a bottle for €12. Londoners appreciate that. We chose the sea menu and land menu average unfortunately. Maybe best to order a la carte? Antipasti dry and oddly bland octopus/ dry Parma ham on bouncy bread. A kingdom for a slice of succulent melon, but no. No succulence. First course the pasta, everyone's favourite. The vongole pasta was overly salty/ the pasta with rabbit and asparagus too bland, and mysteriously bereft of asparagus. Conveniently the wine had kicked in by now. Second course some flavourless bits of octopus with 3 leaves of rocket/some nice beef with 3 leaves of rocket (only plate worth a pic). We struck up a conversation with a French couple who also seemed surprised by the mediocre food. Desert refreshingly tart lemon sorbet with prosecco/ decent chocolate mousse. For the price, good but not amazing.
Nice place where we had lunch but not meeting all of our (high) expectations. Would go here again but not necessarily recommend this place to a fried for a great dinner. PS: High expectation due to Michelin and other reviews.
Wonderful food and great sweet Italian service! highly recommended!
Perhaps the best place in the city! it is better to book it in advance due to the limited number of seats. we tried a few dishes and the performance was perfect! I took the erd menu and it was perfectly directed from the tagliatelline with cannon and sparingly on the beef tagliata. the service was also very professional!
