Brandon's At Nostalgia Inn - Pipestem

What a wonderful country BBQ spot! Authentic wood-smoked and dry-rubbed barbecue!!! Excellent sides, desserts and craft beers!! All in rustic log cabin-type woodsy setting! Next time I'm ordering ribs!!! Go!!!

Well for being (quite literally) the only restaurant close to Pipestem (not actually at Pipestem) it is pretty good. We stopped in for an early dinner after a long day of exploring the park. I should have gone with the barbeque honestly...the steak was a tasty (but mostly forgettable) affair. One other reviewer mentioned that barbeque isn 't their go to any longer and with the WIDE selection of American food on the menu I believe it. My daughter has fettuccine which wasn 't anything to write home about. I get it...there are likely a wide cross section of tastes coming from the park and it makes good business sense. In any event, much better than food you could get at McKeever lodge and we would stop here again if visiting Pipestem.

After spending the morning horseback riding, playing putt put and exploring the park we found this awesome place for food. Great service, and every dish was amazing! Prices were even affordable too.

Brandon's has excellent bbq. However, they are closed for renovations and they don't post it anywhere on their website or Yelp. Nor do they have a message on their phone. Very inconsiderate of people that drive up there for their bbq and find out that they are closed.

Spent the weekend at Pipestem was already over the camping meals . Decided to order take out from Brandons BBQ was NOT disappointed. Ordered the pick 2 (pork chicken) with 2 sides (garlic mashed potatoes and fries) the fettuccini Alfredo real good! There were several items that peaked our interest but we all know some things just aren 't meant for take out. (Ex: loaded potato skins) so we will definitely be back! Quick take out time, i believe it was about 15 mins. The restaurant itself is down a quiet gravel road and it has the home town bbq place vibe. Only recommendation i have for the restaurant would be to add Mac cheese to their menu. Can 't go wrong with Mac at a BBQ place!! This would be 5 star if the price wasn 't so steep. Not very large portions compared to the . But quality was there!
